What Is RAM | Random Access Memory
RAM stands for random access memory. It is a computer memory which access randomly. All types of computer programs, data, applications even the Operating System also are kept in it. More RAM increases more data passing rate. So if users install more RAM their computer might be more comfortable and fast. 32-bit operation system can use only 4 gigabytes RAM while 64-bit operating system can use RAM as much as you can add!
You can also check by click on "computer" from desktop and select "properties".
It is also called volatile memory so all information will be lost when there is no power in the system.
How to Check RAM
We can easily check installed RAM in our computer. Type "dxdiag" in the "run" box and hit enter. Now under "System Information", we will see installed RAM.You can also check by click on "computer" from desktop and select "properties".
